About KOHAUS Labs

KOHAUS Labs is an independent lab for books and ideas. It researches, tests and develops work on the forces shaping technology, economics and society.

Books and ideas are developed independently, tested in drafts and notes, and shared when they are ready, not before. The work is written from Thailand.

AI: First Lines: The Sketch Underneath the Intelligence Era by Athichai Kotub Ounkomol was developed at KOHAUS Labs.

How we work

  • Explain before arguing. Plain language first.
  • Structural, not sensational. The forces underneath, not the headline.
  • A stated vantage point. From where Thailand stands.
  • Sourced and restrained. Quotations kept verbatim; trade-offs named.
